We believe the best things in the wedding industry often start with a simple conversation.

That’s why we host up to 12 Cape Weddings networking events a year across the South Western regions of Southern Africa, giving wedding professionals a chance to get together, meet new people and build genuine relationships.

Our events are relaxed and informal. There are no awkward sales pitches or pressure to hand out as many business cards as possible. It’s simply a chance to take a break from the day-to-day, have something to eat and drink, and spend some time with other people who understand what it’s like to work in the wedding industry.

Each event is hosted at a different venue, giving us the opportunity to showcase some of the amazing places available for weddings while allowing you to meet the people behind the businesses. You might meet a photographer you can refer a client to, a planner you can collaborate with, a florist for your next styled shoot, or simply make a new friend in the industry.

We also want our networking events to be useful beyond the day itself. Building relationships with other wedding professionals can lead to referrals, collaborations, new ideas and opportunities that benefit everyone involved.

Cape Weddings is about bringing the wedding industry together, and our meetups are a big part of that. Alongside our annual A5 Wedding Guide, website, social media and YouTube channel, they form part of a growing platform designed to connect people and businesses within the wedding industry.
